Assignment: PERSPECTIVE

1. Half Full or Half Empty. Draw a glass or jar with liquid in half of it. Write inside the liquid why the glass is half full. Around the jar, or in the empty half, write why the glass is half empty. You can write about a specific situation or decision, or you can write about your life right now in general.

2. Eternal vs. Temporal. Draw the earth. Write inside it all of your earthly worries or desires. Around the earth, write about your eternal worries and desires. How do you put these in perspective?

3. Looking Back. Now that you are older (than you were), there are things you may look back at and feel silly or frustrated about, or things you really miss. Is there something you would do over? Is there something in your life you would change if you could? Why would you change it? Does it make you who you are, or was it uncharacteristic? Explore how you feel about the person you were, and how you can forgive yourself or rejoice in that person.
